Stow Community Park Rules
1) Please help keep this park clean and safe.
2) This facility has a carry in, carry out trash policy. Please leave this facility as nice (or better) than you found it.
3) Rollerblades, skateboards and scooters are not permitted at the park, particularly on the courts.
4) Bikes are limited to the bike racks only. Please keep them off the courts, walking paths or other parts of the park.
5) Park hours are dawn to dusk.
6) No pets allowed.
7) For safety reasons, all persons using basketball and tennis courts shall wear rubber soled athletic shoes only.
8) Slam-dunking is prohibited.
9) No food or liquids are to be brought onto the courts with the exception of water bottles. Glass containers of any kind are prohibited throughout the park.
10) For tennis courts, play is limited to one hour if players are waiting.
11) For basketball courts, play is limited to 30 minutes if players are waiting.
12) Playground is for the use of children 12 and under.
13) On the playground, children under the age of 8 should be supervised at all times.
14) Trash dumping and improper trash disposal are prohibited and subject to fines of $250.
15) Alcohol and smoking are prohibited.
16) Golfing at this facility is not allowed.
17) Please be considerate of others.
Loud or obscene language is not allowed.
18) Motorized vehicle access is prohibited unless approved by the Recreation Director.
19) No fires or campfires without prior written permission.
20) Vandalism will be subject to fine and prosecution.
21) Removal of any property, plants or materials is prohibited.
22) No soliciting without permission.
23) No team field use without permit or prior approval of the Recreation Director. Permit subject to field rules, usage fees and insurance requirements.
24) Picnic and pavilion usage reserved for Stow residents only unless advanced arrangements are made with the Recreation Director.
25)The Recreation Department reserves the right to cancel or restrict the
use of this facility.
