Welcome to the Platypus Society!
Stow Recreation's Middle School afternoon program for kids in 6-8th grade.
At the Pompositticut Community Center, 509 Great Road
Program Options:
Middle School Hour Club - [End of School Day - 3:30pm] (Free! All are welcome! No sign-up required.)
Middle School Platypus Yearly Pass- [End of School Day - 6pm] ($50, Welcome to attend any day of the entire school year, including guaranteed transportation from Hale Middle School as well as access to field trips)
*Early Release Days - No Middle School Hour Club/Drop-Ins on Early Release Days. Yearly Pass required to participate on field trips. Please notify of planned participation through Session Pass on Early Release Days by at least 24 hours prior so field trip waivers and planning can be properly accounted for.
Session I (August 26 - October 16) - 8 weeks/35 days

Session IV (February 22 - April 16) - 7 weeks/40 days
Thursday 3/4 - Early Release Day
Friday 3/12 - Early Release Day
Wednesday 4/7 - Early Release Day
Session V (April 26 - End of school Year) - 7 weeks/33 days
Wednesday 5/12 - Early Release Day
Monday 5/31 - No School
Thursday 6/10 - Last Day of School (No Snow Days)
