Pickleball Clinics - Begginner Clinic - Tuesday, May 28th PICKLEBALL
Pickleball is a fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong. It is played both indoors or outdoors on a 44-foot by 20-foot court. Created for all ages and skill levels, pickleball's rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players. The Stow Recreation Department offers clinics for beginner, advanced beginner and intermediate players, as well as Up/Down the River Playing Clinic. Clinics are offered at Stow Community Park, 50 Old Bolton Road, Stow. Learn to Play: Beginner Clinic - Participants will learn the fundamentals of pickleball. Focus on the court set up, grip, ground strokes and serves as well as focus on dinks, rules, basic strategy and game play. Pickleball equipment, etiquette, and safety will also be covered. Paddles are available for use so need to purchase paddles.
